Zane Lamprey's Official AnnouncementEdit

I'M BACK ON TV!!! So, here's the big news... But first, a story. I've been fighting for Three Sheets ever since MOJO (where it originally aired) went off the air in December 2008. Fans of the show were amazing. They marched with me in LA and NYC, wrote letters, called the networks, sent emails-- And FLN (Fine Living Network) rescued it from oblivion and began airing it on their network. Now, FLN is becoming the Cooking Channel, and once again, the fate of Three Sheets is unknown. The only remaining hope that we have is that the Travel Channel, who have graciously agreed to air Three Sheets for a while until they decide if they are going to add it to their permanent line-up. If that happens (I hope it does!), I will gladly shoot more episodes. But... I've waited to hear about the fate of Three Sheets for a while. I haven't shot an episode in 15 months. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I had already planned to travel the country doing my "Drinking Made Easy" stand-up, so, I thought, why not learn about the drinking customs of our fine country in the process. So, I called Mark Cuban, who owns HDNet, and who was a fan of Three Sheets, and pitched him the idea. He loved it. I loved that he loved it. So, we're doing it. We are shooting 24 episodes of DRINKING MADE EASY for HDNet to premier on Wednesdays in October. We will explore the drinking customs in cities across the US. I'll be joined by my trusty correspondents, Steve McKenna, Marc Ryan, and a furry friend of mine. It's going to be an amazing show! I'll be blogging, twittering and facebooking about the show! And hopefully I'll see you at one of my stand-up shows! Cheers! Zane[1]
